陈忠仁教授,毕业于浙江大学化工系，加州理工学院化学工程与化学博士，师从2005年诺贝尔化学奖得主Grubbs教授和Kornfield教授。在斯坦福大学Waymouth课题组从事茂金属催化的立构嵌段聚合物合成及其高弹性分子基础的博士后研究，随后在霍尼韦尔公司电子材料部研究低k材料，2000年加盟普利司通集团从事橡胶材料的工业研发，成为公司高层研发人员和核心管理团队成员。2010年入选第五批中央“千人计划”创新类（A类），2011年获聘中国国家特聘专家、宁波大学包玉刚讲座教授、材料科学与化学工程学院院长、高分子科学与工程学系（创建）主任。现任南方科技大学化学系讲座教授。
